Slow Cooker BBQ Meatball Appetizer
Slow Cooker BBQ Meatball Bites are a delicious and convenient appetizer perfect for any gathering. Using premade Beyond Meat meatballs and a flavorful BBQ sauce enhanced with Hop Barons Steak Seasoning, these meatballs are slow-cooked to perfection. Garnished with green onions, they’re easy to serve with toothpicks for a crowd-pleasing dish.
Ingredients
1 packet Hop Barons Steak Seasoning | 1/4 cup soy sauce |
2 lbs meatballs (premade Beyond Meat meatballs work or check out our recipe for them here) | 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce |
2 cups BBQ sauce | 2 teaspoons garlic powder |
1/2 cup beef broth (or vegetable broth for a vegetarian option) | 1/4 cup chopped green onions (optional for garnish) |
1/4 cup honey |
Preparation
Prepare Sauce: In a bowl, mix the BBQ sauce, beef broth, honey, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, and the Hop Barons Steak Seasoning packet until well combined.
Add to Slow Cooker: Place the premade Beyond Meat meatballs in the slow cooker. Pour the BBQ sauce mixture over the meatballs, ensuring they are well coated.
Cook: Cover and cook on low for 4-6 hours or on high for 2-3 hours, until the meatballs are heated through and tender.
Garnish and Serve: Once cooked, garnish with chopped green onions (if using) and serve warm with toothpicks for easy eating.
