All tequila is mezcal, but not all mezcal is tequila. Irregardless, this drink is fantastic. Kicked up with Hop Barons Spicy Bad A** BBQ Rub & Seasoning and bourbon barrel maple syrup, this is fantastic for these hot and humid late spring days.... or summer days... or any days.
Ingredients
1 ½ ounces mezcal
1 ounce Cointreau
3/4 ounce freshly-squeezed lime juice
1/4 ounce bourbon barrel maple syrup

Directions
Rub lime around the rim of the glass. Pour Hop Baron Spicy Bad A** BBQ Rub & Seasoning on plate, and dip the rim in the seasoning until it is covered with your desired amount
Add mezcal, lime juice and Cointreau to a cocktail shaker, and shake or stir until combined.
Fill glass with ice. Pour in the margarita mixture over the rocks. Serve immediately, garnished with an extra lime wedge if desired.
