Hop Barons
These crab cakes are as fresh as the ones you would get at your favorite seaside restaurant. The Hop Barons Fish Fry gives it the perfect crust without the deep fried taste.
They will be gone as soon as they hit the table!

Ingredients
- 1lb lump crab meat, drained
- 1/2 cup bread crumbs
- 2T Hop Barons Spicy Bad A** BBQ Rub
- 3T mayo
- 1/2t worcestershire sauce
- 1 bag of Hop Barons Fish Fry
- 12 oz favorite beer
- Oil for frying
- 1/2 cup mayo
- 1t yellow mustard
- 1T Hop Barons Lemon Pepper Rub
Directions
- Combine crab meat, bread crumbs, Hop Barons Spicy Bad A** BBQ Rub, mayo and worchestershire sauce
- Combine Hop Barons Fish Fry and enough beer to create a thick soup consistency
- Make golf ball size portions of the crab mixture
- Heat enough oil in a deep pan to cover at least 3/4 of each crab ball (you know oil is done when a small piece of batter bubbles and rises to the top when dropped in)
- Dip each crab ball in batter and carefully add to oil. Do not overstuff the pan
- Fry until golden brown, flip if oil doesn't fully cover the crab balls. Remove and drain on paper towel.
- Return oil to temperature between batches
- For aoili, mix remaining mayo, mustard and Hop Barons Lemon Pepper Rub
- Serve and enjoy!
